Ben Coode-Adams
Ben's work spans sculpture, video, installation, performance, photography, drawing and curating. He deals with subjects that require diverse approaches, from classical myths for Old Ford Housing Association to recreating journeys through arctic Canada in ‘The Man who Ate his Boots’. His work is based on developing innovative means of delivering complex esoteric ideas and narratives in an engaging way (such as representing the Life of St Chad for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council). Accessibility is key to his work, as his practice is socially engaged rather than theory led. His work seeks to engage both a specialist art audience and the casual user through quality and clarity. Above all his work tells a good story that people enjoy.
